Goats Galore

In Bromyard, near to our Herefordshire HQ lives a lovely lady called Jill Rollo. She runs a charity called 'Goats Galore' that cares for sick, unwanted and mistreated animals, especially goats.

As we keep goats ourself, we decided we'd like to support our local goat rescue in some way. So…over the past week we've talking to Jill about how we can help Goats Galore in its mission.

To start with…

We've created a new web site for Goats Galore at www.goatsgalore.org.uk that now accepts on-line donations via Paypal. From small beginnings its influence will spread across the Internet and you'll see the name 'Goats Galore' springing-up where you least expect it. :-)
We're helping Jill start selling donated items on ebay, with all the profits going to Goats Galore.
If you're one of the lucky people who meet us in the flesh at a craft fair, you might notice the yellow collection tin sitting next to our handmade soap. That's Jill's tin that is, with Goats Galore emblazened across the front!

About Us & Our Soap

Our soap is vegetarian and made in the old-fashioned way using the 'cold process'.

Our soap is handmade from scratch from natural ingredients.

We do NOT use bought-in 'melt and pour' mixes that produce inferior 'instant' soap bars.

We do NOT use bought-in powdered goats milk.

The fresh goats milk we use comes from our own herd of rare-breed Golden Guernseys that graze on the rural pastures of Herefordshire. You can find out more about them on the Bluehills Herd web site.
